FREE GRAPHIC DESIGN

This was a self initiated project that I did in various locations throughout Fargo ND. Recently there have been Anti-Drag laws being implemented in the state of ND, so this project was actually illegal and risky.

I had a couple of people interested in having me work with them on their graphic design projects but this project was about really more about the performance and the conversations that needed to be had during this time in ND.

THE FUNNY SCHOOL OF GOOD ACTING

For this project I designed a mailer for a clowning and physical theatre school that was started by the head of physical theatre at Yale University.

I participated in a Clowning Workshop and afterwards designed this mailer for the school.

PRE-COLLEGE SUMMER SESSION

Brochure and brand identity for a Summer Art Camp for High-Schoolers at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

I designed this while working as a Graphic Designer for the MCAD in-house design and marketing team.

STUDENT ORIENTATION

Poster for new student orientation at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

I designed this while working as a Graphic Designer for the MCAD in-house design and marketing team.

LASER TAG

I was asked to design a flyer for a weekly Laser Tag event at Minnesota Stated University Moorhead. I focused primarely on clean typography and decided to do something fun with the printing and use red and blue glow in the dark screen printing ink on the hand screen-printed flyers.

Queer Archive Work Collaborative Riso-Printed Zine

During the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic many people resorted to various online platforms and communities. I was living in a small town of 900 people and did not have much of a community, much less a supportive queer community.

Paul Soulellis began Queer.Archive.Work and initiated zoom calls with other queer people on the internet. Many participated in the zoom calls throughout 2020 – 2021 and really was a unique bonding experience.

We decided that we would like to produce a collaborative zine and have it available at the Printed Matter Virtual Art Book Fair in NYC. So, throughout the course of around 2-3 months we would do workshops and collaboratively design this project.

I hosted 2 Workshops as my drag persona and would participate in other people workshops as my drag persona as well.

This was truly a unique experience and I feel was very important to me as a small town queer person who often feels like a total outcast and misunderstood.

Miscelaneous Designed Objects

Shot glass and foam finger are merchandise created for my drag persona.

Flushing wall art is an object designed and airbrushed in my in home studio.

Bots is a 2 color riso print on 8.5 X 11 paper.

Shingle  Typography

Experimental Typeface created using discarded found shingles. I would layer the flaps of the shingle in different patterns to create the typeface.
